Baseline Emissions Footprint

Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

This is the first time we have reported our carbon footprint so this calculation establishes our baseline. It is based on our financial accounting year of January to December. Our Baseline calculation includes: Scope 1: Direct Emissions Scope 2: Indirect Emissions Scope 3 Categories: 4: Upstream transportation & distribution; 6: Business travel/Hotel stays Our Baseline deviates from the requirements under PPN 06/21 as follows: Scope 3: Category 5: Waste generated in operations is not included as waste is considered negligible. Scope 3: Category 7: Employee commuting/Teleworking is not included as no commuting as employees work from home. Scope 3: Category 9: Downstream transportation & distribution is not included as no transport paid for by customers.

Emissions reduction targets

In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.

We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 416.7 tCO2e by 2029. This is a reduction of 19.2 %.

Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives

The following environmental management measures and projects have been completed or implemented since the 2024 baseline and the measures will be in effect when performing the contract.

• We all work from home, so there is no commuting.
• We use public transport whenever possible and logical.

Future Carbon Reduction Initiatives

In the future we hope to implement further measures such as:

• Encourage UK employees to switch to renewable energy.
• Investigate whether US storage facility has sustainable practices.
• Investigate using couriers with sustainable practices in place.
• Distribute top tips for purchasing, how to choose a sustainable supplier to employees.
• Create and implement travel policy.

Declaration and Sign Off

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans. Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.

Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).
